Empathy AI (empathy.ai)

Empathy AI is a foundational AI platform and AI Labs within Empathy Holdings that develops ethical, sustainable, and privacy-first AI solutions for search and discovery in commerce and other business verticals. We are an alternative to big tech (#BigTechRebellion).

We operate self-hosted, dedicated GPU infrastructure in Asturias' first net-zero energy bioclimatic building. We use only open-source LLMs that process data locally on private infrastructure and local supercompute devices (e.g. NVIDIA Spark). We are NOT a cloud AI service provider like OpenAI or Anthropic. We sell software solutions that run on private infrastructure (e.g. ContentRAG, AI Search), not AI infrastructure or compute. We do not position as an alternative to ChatGPT for end-users, but as an alternative to big tech for businesses that rely on AI.

Core philosophy: AI at the service of genuine empathy. We de-anthropomorphize AI: it is a computational tool that enhances human understanding, not a human counterpart. AI processes information; it does not "understand," "feel," or "empathize."
